Why the Name Moonglow?

It’s a neat word, isn’t it? Fun to say, sounds serene. Makes me think of happy and hopeful things. When I was in high school my family moved to a house on Moonglow Drive. My engineer-astronomer brother, built his first observatory there, naming it Moonglow Observatory. He even used the name for a while for his own business, so I suppose a part of me wanted to keep the name in the family. Doesn’t have much to do with animation though, does it? But, as I pondered the moon, and my own hopes and dreams for this company, I realized that the moon and I share one thing in common- neither of us have our own light to give. Just as the moon reflects the light of the physical sun, I want to reflect the light of God’s son Jesus Christ in my life. Sometimes I’m clumsy, I’m goofy, I mess up and make a lot of mistakes, that’s me, but every good and right thing I do, is because God is at work in my life. I hope that you’ll let Him be a part of your life too. -Monica Theiler Owner/Producer
